As an Alternative Health Practitioner, I shall:     Humbly serve my clients with the utmost integrity and the absolute highest ethical and professional standard   Always honor my clients needs and concerns and understand that they have their own personal level of understanding, interest, and willingness to undertake their own health journey – and that my role is to assist them in their own healing process   Maintain open communication with clients and share what I believe is the best protocol for them given my education and experience, even if that means referring them on to someone else that may be able to address their needs better than I can   Live my life according to what I teach, and maintain my personal health to the best of my ability so that I am able to give the best of myself to others   Actively pursue continuing education such that I can continue to offer my clients the finest of what I personally have to offer, and will continue to improve my abilities in areas that will be of benefit to my clients   Actively pursue strong relationships with other practitioners in modalities where I may not have expertise such that the client receives the best opportunity for health   Dedicate my time, expertise and education to serve my clients and the greater community at large, in the efforts to expand education about natural health options at any opportunity offered to me   Be open to new things and willing to learn about new modalities and developments in the alternative health arena   Communicate clearly that I do not diagnose, treat, prescribe or prevent any disease or disorder   Operate in accordance with the Code of Ethics outlined by the Natural Therapies Certification Board
